I'm feeling antsy not having heard back from messages I sent out. I'm wondering if people on hiring committees are just not ready for the summer to be over! Also, last year my partner got a job at a school where he'd requested a meeting at the Employment Service and they never replied. So I wouldn't get too hung up on this round. I ended up with several interviews at the ES last year (8, maybe?), and the large majority were scheduled no more than the a week before the conference. A couple were scheduled during the conference itself. Annoying, but true.

Could someone update the list of postings please? Additionally, do you think it's too late to register? Many thanks!

Post by One Week to Go on Aug 10, 2014 11:24:58 GMT -5
For future years (or current candidates):
With 5 days to go until ASA, there are 39 jobs advertised at ASA's Employment Service.
Personally, I have sent 12 notes of interest over the last few weeks; with 5 of these resulting in meetings.
I have no idea if this percentage is indicative of others, but it may allow some people to determine whether the $50 is "worth it".
