The Committees (One for Each hire) have made long lists and the department will be meeting next week or so to decide on the who and how may to invite.

Race position: The committee has made a short list, and the department will be voting on candidates to bring in for interviews this Friday.

They will move straight to on-campus interviews. I expect candidates for the race/ethnicity hire will be contacted for scheduling interviews late next week or early the following week.

I think that means that they will be called late next week or early the following week to set up an interview, not that interviews are late next week...
