The University of Alaska Fairbanks will be hiring for a one year Term Assistant Professor, starting August 2015 through May 2016. If you're able to start in January 2015 (minimum ABD in Sociology), that'd be a plus but is not required. If a new hire started in January 2015, the employment contract would be for January 2015 through May 2016. Job description will be available in a few weeks; specialization open. Review date should be end of October. Alaska's awesome if you can stand the cold.

I know this was posted elsewhere, but would UD have to wait to hire until next year now that once of the faculty admitted to sexually harassing students? Or could they post a methods position this year?
