My area is pretty niche for sociology, but may fit some interdisciplinary departments well. Is there a forum for interdisciplinary departments adjacent to sociology? I googled and couldnt find anything but I'm also unsure what to search for. What other departments hire sociologists?
Thank you!

Many options, but hard to know which applies to you without knowing your subfield. Basically anything that's considered social science or humanities that isn't economics, psychology, or political science would hire a sociologist. Public policy, criminology, social work, history (maybe), gender and womens studies, american studies, african american studies, asian american studies, geography, communications, human development and family studies, labor studies, etc. The sociology hiring board on Higher Ed Jobs often includes postings from these other areas. There are also separate job posting boards on that website for many of these other fields. www.higheredjobs.com/faculty/
