The Department of Women's and Gender Studies at the University of South Carolina is hiring a Bridge-to-Faculty postdoctoral fellow to begin in August 2023. We invite applications from outstanding scholars in Black Feminist/Womanist Studies who conduct research at the intersections of gender, race, class, and sexuality. The candidate will have completed a PhD in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies or a relevant academic discipline by the time of appointment, no more than four years past the PhD. This hire is part of a university-wide initiative that is designed to attract, support, and retain scholars from groups historically underrepresented in their departments or fields. The program seeks to recruit early-career scholars who, if successful during the post-doctoral period, may have the opportunity to transition to tenure track faculty at USC starting in the 2025-2026 academic year. The deadline to submit applications is March 20, 2023. Additional details are available at the link below. uscjobs.sc.edu/postings/139852

Another sociology job that wants people who study inequality but then they don’t list salary or guarantee a permanent job. Lol
