The Primary Care Academic Fellowship at Boston Medical Center/Boston University is accepting fellowship applications for July 2022 (or later). We seek applicants interested in careers in academic medicine with a focus on research on innovative health care and community interventions for underserved populations. Our fellowship has trained academic leaders for >20 years and provides: • An interdisciplinary program that includes faculty and fellows from clinical divisions including Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and General Internal Medicine • Intensive individual research and career mentoring Our program: • Trains primary care physicians and PhDs for careers in academic medicine, health services, and clinical epidemiology • Includes a broad range of observational and interventional approaches to addressing disparities, health literacy, substance use and addiction, and social determinants of health. • Addresses individual needs of trainees, including enhancing leadership skills for long-term career success Affiliated institutions include: • Boston Medical Center, an academic safety-net hospital • Boston University School of Public Health • Boston University School of Medicine Funding Sources: • Health Resources and Services Administration (T32) • Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (T32) Application: For more information about the application process, please contact Linda Neville for more information Linda.neville@bmc.org, 617-638-8344 or visit www.bumc.bu.edu/medfellowship/
