Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor
Department of Human Development and Family Studies – Purdue University
Position Summary
The Department of Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) at Purdue University invites applications from candidates holding a doctoral degree for the position of Clinical Faculty in Human Development and Family Studies. The position is a full-time, 9-month non-tenure track appointment with an anticipated start date of August 2022. Clinical faculty are full members of the HDFS faculty and are expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching undergraduate course content in lifespan human development and family studies, and lead one or more classes that make up the practical skills or capstone selections in the human services major. The teaching focus of this position requires demonstration of successful teaching experience, including experiential education such as internship supervision, service-learning, or courses with clinical applications.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are a doctoral degree in HDFS or closely related field. Clinically oriented expertise at the master’s or doctoral level is preferred (e.g., social work, clinical or counseling psychology, addictions counseling, marriage and family therapy, etc.).
