Visiting instructor position(s) at Wheaton College (MA): The Sociology Department at Wheaton College has four course openings for 2021-22, two in the fall and two in the spring. Areas are open and could include, but not limited to, introduction to Sociology, Inequality, Race, Health, Urban Sociology. We prefer introductory and/or intermediate level courses that complement our current offerings. Proposals for individual courses are welcome, as are proposals for teaching up to 4 courses. The Sociology Department works to be actively anti-racist and fully accessible to all students. In considering candidates, we look for evidence in syllabi for including scholars from marginalized backgrounds and perspectives. Application submission and additional information: jobs.wheatoncollege.edu/postings/3042Please reach out to Karen McCormack (mccormack_karen@wheatoncollege.edu), chair of the Sociology Department, with questions.
