Bump. The submission email mentioned that the only guaranteed communication was a note from HR when the position is filled. Did anyone who applied hear from the search committee directly yet?

Nothing yet, but the email after submission said that as long as the job is listed on their employment website, they are still in the stage of accepting applications. It's still up as of 2.15

This was my dream position and I was 100% qualified, having taught all the courses listed and a strong teaching portfolio. Not even getting an interview is killing me...

It is so frustrating and sometimes soul-crushing. But there is so much chaos in the market - it really is not a reflection on you or your worth. I second ABDrunk's hopes for more opportunities. |

It's better to not get your heart set on any specific position, it never works out in my experience...and the pool of applicants this year must be insane, there are probably over 100 very qualified people who are a good fit for each position.
