^ In the job talks I gave, I was told I was one of only 3 or 4 finalists. It's a big scheduling endeavor to get deans, etc. together.

This is for the gender and race call:
They are apparently scheduling virtual on-campus interviews without doing preliminary interviews? I'm confused about whether the interviews are shortlist candidates or the long-shortlist candidates.
Does anyone have clarity on this?
