Any word on this one? It seemed to be looking for a very specific kind of candidate who could launch a Black Canadian Studies program, so I didn't even apply. But curious if they hired a Canadian of color in the end.

It was all junior faculty / postdocs / ABDs. Strong group. Don't feel bad if you didn't get an interview, the competition was stiff.

It was a very specific call, so I'm curious who they hired. -The call was for a person who was an urban scholar. -Preference given to people who worked on policy or who used computational methods. -Everyone brought out either was involved with policy or did computational methods, but maybe only one did both. -Things are moving but there is nothing to announce. Sorry. Might have news in two weeks. |
