Job Description:
Assistant Professor or Instructor in Criminal Justice/ Sociology: Eastern New Mexico University’s program in Criminal Justice and Sociology seeks applications for a full-time position to begin in August 2012. Appointment will be at a rank commensurate with academic training and experience. Ph.D. in Criminal Justice and/or Sociology and a minimum of three years higher-education teaching experience or related experience preferred for tenure-track position teaching undergraduate courses at all levels in both disciplines; ABD will be considered. MA and related teaching experience in the same disciplines required for three-year renewable Instructor position teaching primarily lower-division courses. Responsibilities include a 12-hour teaching load per semester, on campus, online and/or via lecture capture, student advising, and other duties as assigned. Start date: August 2012.
