Does anyone have any updates or information to offer about the status of the USC search for someone in Gender, Science, and Technology? Their deadline for materials was October 1.

It is a sociology position. Sociology: The Department of Sociology in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California (3620 S. Vermont Ave., Kaprielian Hall 352, Los Angeles, California 90089-2539) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sociology position in the area of Gender, Science and Technology, with an anticipated start date of Fall 2012. In addition to teaching in Sociology and the General Education Program, the hired faculty member will be expected to contribute teaching to Dornsife College's Gender Studies Program.
