UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA. The Department of Sociology invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin fall 2020. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Sociology or related discipline and have completed all the requirements for this degree by July 31, 2020. We seek an outstanding scholar whose research and substantive interests focus on race and ethnicity.
Successful candidates will have a record of high quality research and demonstrate potential for a strong publication record. Preference will be given to candidates who also show promise in obtaining extramural funding. Successful applicants will provide evidence of the promise of teaching excellence and their ability to teach courses on race and ethnicity at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
