The Department of Sociology at William & Mary seeks applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in Global Sociology. We are particularly interested in candidates with research and teaching expertise in global health and medicine or global/transnational law (e.g., human rights, crime, and justice). The candidate is expected to establish and maintain an active research program that inspires a highly motivated undergraduate student body. Teaching expectation is two courses per semester. The successful candidate will be required to offer Global Sociology courses that can be cross-listed with the International Relations program. Candidates must apply online at jobs.wm.edu. Submit a curriculum vitae and cover letter that includes a description of research and teaching interests and a statement outlining your potential contributions to diversity on campus. Candidates must submit the names and email addresses of three references to the online job site. References will be contacted with instructions for how to submit a letter of reference. For full consideration, submit application materials by the review date, February 25, 2019. Applications received after the review date will be considered if needed.
