This is the first of two TT sociology positions at UNCG, this first ad for a research methods TT line with an October 15 application deadline. The second line will post later in the cycle, with a later deadline, for a criminology hire.

Position Summary
The Department of Sociology invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor for an august 2019 appointment. The successful candidate will be expected to regularly teach research methods courses in the department's BA and MA programs in Sociology.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must hold or anticipate a Ph. D. in Sociology beginning in August 2019.
Candidates for whom the Ph. D. has not been confirmed as of 08/01/2019 will be considered for an initial appointment at the rank of non-tenure track Instructor.
