Job Description: Assistant Professor of Sociology Assistant Professor/Tenure-Track Faculty

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology is accepting applications for an assistant professor (tenure-track) appointment to begin fall 2019. The successful candidate will have an active research and publication agenda in the sociology of gender. The faculty member hired will contribute primarily to the Inequality: Class, Gender, and Race graduate program area.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Sociology or related field by time of employment; strong record of research and publication, including potential for obtaining extramural funding; strong skills in either quantitative or qualitative research methods; strong commitment to excellence in teaching and graduate student mentorship; and complementarity with other graduate program areas.
