Gonzaga University (WA) - Assistant Professor, Sociology Job Summary:The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Gonzaga University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2018 (3/3 teaching load). We seek a colleague whose teaching and research strengths are in criminology or criminal justice, with an ability and interest in teaching theory, research methods, or statistics. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, articulate the course offerings they would contribute to the Departmental curriculum, and describe their fit with Gonzaga's mission. Minimum Qualifications:Ph.D. in Sociology, Criminology, Criminal Justice, or closely related field. ABD considered, with the expectation the candidate will have degree in hand by August 1, 2018.
