The Department of Sociology at the College of William and Mary invites applications for a one year, non-tenure-track visiting faculty position that will begin August 10, 2017. We seek an individual with expertise and teaching experience in urban sociology, sociology of communities, and introductory sociology. The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective teacher and will have a [3-3] teaching load.
Required: A Master’s degree in Sociology or closely related and relevant field is required.
Preferred: A Ph.D. or ABD in Sociology or closely related and relevant field is preferred at the time appointment begins (August 10, 2017).
