Visiting position in Sociology, with expertise in environmental studies and gender, at the rank of assistant professor. Effective August 2017. Ph.D. preferred.
The successful candidate will offer two sections of the introductory sociology course for non-majors, a course in gender and society, and an environmental sociology seminar in the candidate’s area of expertise. The ability and willingness to supervise senior thesis projects in Environmental Studies-Sociology is required. The teaching load is five courses per year (including participation in senior seminars and senior thesis advising).
