Faith and Work Initiative Postdoctoral or Visiting Scholar

Position Summary: Princeton University's Faith and Work Initiative (FWI), within the Center for Study of Religion (CSR), invites applications for a one or two semester position, during 2012-2013. The position is open to pre-tenure scholars and recent Ph.D. graduates interested in studying the area of Faith and Work. Possible research focus might include, but not be limited to, organizational impact of workplace spirituality, historical or current issues in the faith and work movement, and methods, models, or scales regarding the integration of faith in the workplace. Scholars will conduct their own research, work closely with FWI's director, attend a weekly interdisciplinary workshop with other CSR post-doctoral researchers, and participate in FWI and CSR-sponsored events. Applicants' doctorates may be in any relevant field. Princeton University Ph.D.s are not eligible. A cover letter including a research project title and a project summary of 200 words or less; 3. A brief (five-page) presentation of the proposed research project; 4. A relevant writing sample (published or unpublished paper) in English, or with an English translation; preferably in the field of workplace spirituality/faith at work, and 5.
