The Department of Sociology in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, may have a need in the coming 12 months to fill one or more teaching-track faculty positions (Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Master Lecturer, Assistant Professor (Teaching), Associate Professor (Teaching), Professor (Teaching), Assistant Professor of the Practice, Associate Professor of the Practice, and Professor of the Practice) full-time and part-time, to teach courses and/or discussion sections. Applicants should have a doctoral degree in appropriate field of study and previous teaching experience.
If you are interested, please submit a CV and a cover letter indicating, a) past teaching experience; b) which courses you would be able to teach [see course catalog for a list of courses offered by the department: www.usc.edu/dept/publications/cat2010/schools/college/soci/courses.html . Note that courses designated "g" can only be taught by tenure-track faculty]; and c) whether you are seeking a full-time position or to teach a single course.
