The Department of Sociology and Anthropology is searching for an advanced Assistant or Associate level tenure-track faculty member to contribute to excellence in undergraduate teaching in criminology option in the Sociology & Anthropology Department. The Department of Sociology & Anthropology at Montana State University (Bozeman) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Sociology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, to begin start in August 2017. We seek an established PhD who (1) has substantive interests in Criminology and/or Criminal Justice, (2) has a well-articulated research agenda that includes a record of scholarly productivity, and (3) has a commitment to teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. We are particularly interested in candidates whose specializations are in the area of law and society or courts and sentencing. My dept just added two fulls that left MSU, so I'm guessing they'll want to replace at a more senior level.
