The University of Richmond is seeking a social scientist for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in the Jepson School of Leadership Studies. Although ABDs will be considered, the successful candidate must have completed a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in public administration, public policy, educational policy, political or social psychology, sociology, or a related field, by August 23, 2017. We seek applicants who study, or have the potential and desire to study, leadership by drawing on their disciplinary expertise to inform their work. We are particularly interested in candidates whose demonstrated scholarly interests focus on the analysis of policy or processes related to justice and explaining social and economic inequality.
