TENNESSEE TECH UNIVERSITY, a constituent unit of the Tennessee Board of Regents,
invites applicants for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure-track position in Sociology or Political
Science at the rank of Instructor, to begin August 1, 2016 and renewable up to three-years, based
on satisfactory annual reviews and the needs of the department. A master’s degree from an
accredited institution in Sociology, Political Science, or a related discipline is required by the
start date (August 1, 2016).
The department seeks applicants to teach introductory courses and/or other courses compatible
with department needs. Experience teaching at the college level is preferred.
