Willamette University invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position in Sociology for the 2016-2017 academic year to begin in August 2016.
Willamette University is a highly selective undergraduate liberal arts college with a strong and collegial Sociology Department and a record of substantial support and mentoring of new faculty.
Substantive areas are open but preference will be given to candidates who can teach qualitative methodology. Other courses must meet departmental needs but can be tailored to the candidate’s interests and strengths. Teaching load is three courses per semester.
This position offers medical and dental benefits.
This position is not eligible for any Visa or employment sponsorship. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and proven success as a teacher of undergraduates.
