** Applications still being accepted ** The USC Davis School of Gerontology and the USC Andrus Gerontology Center are planning a major expansion in the number of tenure-track faculty in fields relevant to aging. Multiple positions will be filled in the coming years. Hiring at the assistant professor level is preferred but other ranks will be considered. Persons with a strong research profile in a variety of fields are sought. Current faculty hold degrees in Biology, Demography, Policy, Urban Planning, Psychology, and Sociology but the School is broadly multidisciplinary and open to candidates from other disciplines and professions such as medicine, engineering, law and business. There is a preference for appointments that integrate or collaborate with existing research programs. Opportunities are available for joint appointments with other academic units. The USC Davis School offers gerontology degrees at the bachelors, masters, and doctoral levels; teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate level is expected. Gerontology faculty also frequently supervise doctoral students in other schools and departments (e.g. Sociology, Biological Sciences, Policy and Planning). Persons interested in a position should submit a C.V., along with a letter indicating experience, areas of interest and names and addresses of three references via the link below. Review of applications will begin January 4th and will continue until the position is filled. facultypositions.usc.edu/bonita/console/frsSubmission.jsp?postingId=20025114
