Siena College in quantitative sociology The Sociology Department at Siena College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level starting Fall 2016 semester. The ideal candidate will have expertise in quantitative methods (including social statistics). Areas of research may include: criminology, health, or justice studies. The candidate should be able to demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching and a well-defined research agenda. The faculty hired will contribute to ongoing curricular needs of the department that include teaching quantitative and qualitative research methods, courses in his/her research area, mentoring and advising students, and helping to lead the development and advancement of Bachelor of Arts program in Sociology. Requirements: Preferred candidate will have a Ph.D. in Sociology by July 1, 2016. A background screening will be required.
