Nope; I had the same problem. I figured I'd write the contact person in a few days if it still wasn't up (since the listing was new, I thought it might not yet be on the website).

Hartwick had the same issue... I'd wait until Nov. 1 before writing the search committee. Let someone else be "that person".

I have had the same issue with not being able to find the job posting on their webpage. I e-mailed someone with HR last week but haven't heard back yet.

"up now" is correct that the job ad is just now available on the High Point jobs site. Don't be afraid to contact HR and inquire about why an ad is not posted. I contacted HR over the weekend, and explained that the ad was on Vitae but was not posted on the HPU jobs site. The HR director (who was extremely nice) worked with the "powers that be" to get the ad up quickly thereafter. Oftentimes things go unnoticed if we (the applicants) do not communicate what we see. I worked in a department that once assumed for two weeks that a job ad had been posted only to find out (again, from an applicant) that no job link was ever released on the university website.
