The Sociology-Anthropology Department invites applications for a tenure track position for a sociologist with expertise in public policy and quantitative methods (including social statistics) beginning September 2016. Priority will be given to scholars who work in a substantive policy area that includes poverty, family, community or immigration. Completed Ph.D. at time of appointment preferred. Candidate should be able to teach a broad methods course (including both quantitative methods and social statistics) to undergraduates. Appointment will be at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants must show evidence of teaching excellence and have an active research agenda.
