They sent me a message last Tuesday asking me to prod my third reference to submit her letter, so I guess they are still early in the process.

Would be really curious to know anything about who they invited. This was one that I thought I would be competitive for - wonder if all the orgs and inequality flyouts are just going to APs this year. Was under the impression that this would be a growing (or at least not receding) area early in my graduate career, but now I'm kicking myself for not doing more to either target business schools or link my work to a higher demand subfield.
Guess it's about time to start groveling for an 8th year of TA-ships...
