The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at the University of Arkansas invites applications for a tenure-track position in criminal justice / criminology, at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin August 2016. We are seeking candidates with an active research agenda, evidence of scholarly productivity, and a commitment to exceptional teaching. The area of research is open but candidates able to contribute to the departmental specialization in Terrorism and Homeland Security are preferred as well as those with experience with large quantitative terrorism data sets. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with the Terrorism Research Center in Fulbright College (TRC).
