ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Single Position/Tenure-Track) Department of Sociology
College of Humanities and Social Sciences
Louisiana State University
Specialization Area: Criminology/Law
The Department of Sociology invites applications for one tenure-track assistant professor position beginning August 2016. We seek applicants with a specialization in criminology/law in order to enhance our existing strength in these areas. Candidates should show promise of developing a strong record of publications; potential for research funding is also desirable.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Sociology or related field.
Screening of applicants will begin October 15, 2015, and will continue until a candidate is selected. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
