I found two jobs postings for University of Hartford. They are as follows: - "We are seeking a candidate with research and teaching interests in the areas of urban sociology, family, and/or social welfare." (link)
- "We are seeking a candidate with research interests in the relationship between race and crime, and in the area of inequality." (link)

Posted this because I was wondering if anyone knew if the crim position would be interested in someone studying an aspect of inequalities in general or if they really want someone who does race and crime only.

I have no idea about this job, but I would say apply anyways. I believe crim (and maybe health) is the only area where there are more jobs than candidates. This means they are more likely to be flexible with what they want. Maybe they want someone who does race and crime, but they may not find a candidate and they'll accept someone who does crime and inequalities in general.
