Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in a social science discipline with a strong quantitative focus, or a Ph.D. in a computational or statistical discipline with a strong record of application in the social sciences. We anticipate a primary departmental appointment in a social sciences unit, with a possible joint appointment in other departments or Colleges. Applicants should also have demonstrated experience in teaching quantitative methods courses, working on grants and projects related to sponsored research, a strong potential for seeking external funding, and a record of published scholarship. The successful candidate will teach core courses and conduct public lectures advancing data driven social science at all levels.
