ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – CRIMINAL JUSTICE FALL 2016 The Department of Sociology at Tufts University invites applications for a tenure track position of Assistant Professor, to begin July 1, 2016. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in sociology or a related field, a demonstrated record of academic research and publications, and high quality teaching experience. Candidates' research and teaching should specialize in the criminal justice system, broadly defined. Candidates with expertise in quantitative research methods are especially encouraged to apply. Tufts University is a category I, highly selective research university and is located in the vibrant intellectual community of Boston. The typical teaching load is 2-2, and we seek a candidate committed to teaching a highly motivated undergraduate student body.
