The Department of Sociology at Biola University invites candidates to apply for a full-time tenure-track position to begin Fall 2016. Area of specialization is open. Ph.D. preferred, but ABD candidates will be considered. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and evidence of high quality scholarly activity. Normal teaching load is 12 units per semester.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to work effectively with diverse populations, female and male students and colleagues, and integrate multicultural content and issues into their teaching.
