The Department of Sociology at the London School of Economics invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions, to begin September 1, 2016. One of the positions is expected to contribute to the department's excellence in research and teaching in economic sociology, the other in (i) race and ethnicity and/or (ii) political sociology and human rights. We encourage applicants with strong expertise in quantitative and/or qualitative methods. Responsibilities include teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Salary is negotiable, starting at £51,000 or around $80,000. Further details will be posted on the LSE jobs page from mid-September, and applications can be filed from this period until mid-October.
