The Department of Sociology at Boston College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position to begin in Fall 2016. We are seeking to hire a qualitative scholar at the Assistant Professor level whose research agenda fits into the social justice theme of our Ph.D. program. We are particularly interested in applicants who work in the areas of critical criminology, immigration, poverty, or social movements, but will consider the applications of candidates working in other substantive areas.
