Some late season hires. They are hiring for two criminology positions. The start date is flexible The candidate will contribute to our core curriculum in sociology and criminology with potential teaching and research interests in one or more of the following areas: juvenile delinquency, inequality/poverty, violence and victimization, and/or law and society. We also encourage applicants who have an interest in developing online course offerings. A successful candidate should contribute to our department strengths in diversity and inequalities. The standard teaching load is 5 courses per year. • Ph.D. in sociology, criminology, law & society or closely related field. Candidates who are ABD will be considered, as long as all requirements for the Ph.D. are completed prior to the position start date. A JD will not meet the minimum educational requirements for this position. • Ability to contribute to our criminology emphasis area and teach courses related to the candidate’s interest areas in criminology or law & society • Interest and ability to develop online courses • An established record of success in research excellence. • An established record of success in teaching excellence. • A commitment to collaboration • An ability to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community uidaho.peopleadmin.com/postings/8756
