Founded in 2012, the School of Medicine at UCR is the sixth University of California Medical School and serves the rapidly growing and dynamic Inland Southern California region by training a much-needed physician workforce and catalyzing innovations in research, education, and healthcare delivery. The UCR School of Medicine’s mission is to improve the health of the community in the Inland Empire, one of the most ethnically diverse and medically underserved areas of the country. Central to the mission of the SOM is the newly established Center for Healthy Communities, a research center that promotes the conduct of community-based, community-partnered, and population health research.

The successful candidate will be expected to engage in an independent and extramurally-funded clinical research program and contribute to the clinical (if appropriate), teaching, and service missions of the University and SOM. We are especially interested in recruiting investigators who are Spanish speaking.
