The Department of Sociology in the School of Education and Human Services at Mount St. Mary's University invites outstanding teacher-scholars to apply for a tenure track appointment starting in August, 2015. The successful candidate is expected to possess a Ph.D. in Sociology with demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service to the campus community. He/she will teach courses in stratification, methods/statistics, and foundations. ABD will be considered. In addition to courses within the major, the faculty member will contribute to the Veritas Program, our common liberal arts curriculum. Successful candidates will share our commitment to the dignity and solidarity of all persons and the value of intercultural understanding.
