Middle Georgia State College Career Opportunities Division: Psychology, Sociology and Criminal Justice Position: Assistant Professor – Criminal Justice Type: Faculty Date Posted: 1/9/2015 Description: The successful candidate for this position must hold an earned doctorate in Criminal Justice/Administration of Justice (or other earned doctorate with 18 graduate semester hours in Criminal Justice). The Criminal Justice applicant must possess an outstanding record of teaching (potential). Candidates with ABD and a firm completion date will be considered. This 10-month faculty tenure-track position will be expected to teach at various MGSC campuses (day and evening) as well as through distance education. The teaching load per semester will be four classes. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate is expected to engage in scholarship and serve on the various committees within the Department as well as within the College of Arts and Sciences.
