The Department of Sociology and Anthropology seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor whose teaching and research focus on race and ethnicity in a department which focuses on social justice and global approaches to social change. In addition to courses in their specialty areas, candidates will be expected to teach Introduction to Sociology or Cultural Anthropology. The ability to teach theory or methods is also preferred. Ph.D. is expected by time of appointment (July 2015). The successful candidate will begin at the start of the Fall 2015 semester subject to financial availability.
