Sociology & Gerontology: Assistant Professor in sociology/social justice studies to teach primarily at the undergraduate level; maintain an active research agenda and provide service to the institution. Position begins August 2015. Require: PhD in sociology or a related discipline by date of appointment, an active research agenda, and substantive expertise in social justice studies (e.g., environmental studies, gender and sexuality, global human rights, inequalities, peace studies). Desire: The potential to teach undergraduate research methods and to contribute to the University's global studies and intercultural competence requirements. The department offers bachelor’s degrees in sociology and social justice studies and minors in sociology, social justice studies, and criminology.
