[How are letters sent?]

The call suggests that referee letters are to be sent through the online job portal, but the portal doesn't seem to provide this opportunity. On the other hand, there is an email address for the chair in the call. Am I supposed to read between the lines and see that the letters are supposed to be sent independently by the referees, to the chair, via email (like almost all other places)? If someone from Gonzaga who knows is reading this, please clarify (this question applies to both advertised positions).
