The Department of Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health is seeking a tenure-track assistant or associate professor in the area of population health management and policy.
The ideal candidate has evidence or promise of an externally-funded research agenda that broadly addresses either population health management or health and health care disparities. For instance, we are interested in candidates working with special populations, such as urban, rural, disadvantaged, or vulnerable communities. Minimum requirements include an earned doctorate in fields such as sociology, demography, psychology, epidemiology, genetics, political science, statistics, economics, public health, or other relevant discipline. The successful candidate will also have strong mentoring and teaching abilities.
The University of Michigan, the School of Public Health, and the Department of Health Management and Policy have been at the forefront of research in these areas. This new faculty member would contribute to existing efforts, and leverage their impact by building and sharing evidence, ideas, and expertise.
