There is already a thread for SUNY-Buffalo on the FIRST PAGE. Is it really that hard to look before creating multiple threads? All you had to do was scroll halfway down.

We want people do post updates about searches in this section, right? Better here than in "New Positions."

Sharp is correct. Multiple threads on the same place is extremely discourteous to the rest of us since it pushes useful information off the front page, resulting in more duplicate threads, etc. Basic message board etiquette is not difficult and benefits all of us.

At some point this section will get multiple pages. For those interested in getting info about a particular institution, you can sort the topics alphabetically by clicking on the "Subject" link to see if the one you're looking for already exists.
And if anyone thinks this info belongs elsewhere -- I know it's off-topic -- feel free to copy it and repost someplace more appropriate.

Welcome, Socdog, and thanks for the update. Many of us err in one way or another when first using this board. For me, I posted a "new" job that had been posted 3 months earlier...I didn't know there was a search function and I didn't see the earlier post.
Good luck in the job search.
