Assistant Professor of Sociology. The Sociology Department at the University of Pittsburgh seeks to fill a position for a sociologist with strong training in quantitative methods. The successful candidate must be able to teach graduate level statistics and must employ quantitative methods in research. Substantive areas are open, but candidates who complement our departmental strengths in social movements, politics, and culture are preferred. The appointment will be tenure-track at the Assistant Professor level and will begin in the fall of 2015, pending budgetary approval.
