Tenure-track position in Sociology, with expertise in Social Theory at the rank of assistant professor. Effective August 2015. Ph.D. required. The successful candidate will offer courses in sociological theory as well as participate in the year-long senior capstone and thesis course. In addition, the successful candidate will be a generalist capable of teaching introductory, intermediate and advanced level courses. S/he will also be expected to teach courses that contribute to the College’s general education requirements. The standard annual teaching load is five courses. The College provides a generous sabbatical leave program and professional development support for both research and teaching.
